Behavioural Therapists
LEARN works with families to evidence based programmes for children with autism and learning delays.. Behavioural Therapists are integral in the delivery of quality evidence based programs.
Behavioural Therapists have the opportunity to make a truly profound difference in a young child’s life and learn valuable teaching skills in the process.
Training in a related field such as psychology or teaching is desirable, as is experience working with children who have autism. However, these qualifications are not essential if you have the intelligence, enthusiasm and dedication needed to learn and apply the skills required.
LEARN also values those interested in pursuing their certification as either a Board Certified Behaviour Analysis or a Board Certified Assistant Behaviour Analyst (see www.bacb.com).
To excel in this role you should have high energy levels, an outgoing personality, love working with kids and be passionate about changing lives. You also need to possess an interest in a scientific approach to learning and particularly Applied Behaviour Analysis.

Respite Workers
Many LEARN families access funding for respite from their children and seek experienced and passionate people to work with or train to work to with children with autism such that their families can get much needed respite.
